Northcoast Active Riders Group

We are a friendly, dressage focused group located at the Nambour Showgrounds in the heart of the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Established in 1974 we are affiliated with EA (Equestrian Australia) and run regular dressage related events under EA rules and guidelines.  Events offered throughout the year include:

  • Competitive and Participant Official Dressage Competitions from Prep to Grand Prix for EA Members

  • NAGs Club Member Unofficial Dressage Competitions from Prep to Prix St George

  • The Brittney Anning Memorial Dressage Competition

  • Protocol Days hosted by EA Official Dressage Judges

  • Riding and Rider Bio-mechanic Clinics with guest trainers

To us, dressage is more than a single test. It is the first and last moments you spend with your horse each day, the hours of training and grooming in all sorts of weather and conditions that went into the 4 minute test.

All membership applications are managed via nominate.com.au - “Join A Club”

Membership fees are as follows:
2025 Single Adult Riding Membership (18yrs+) - $75
2025 Family Membership (1 adult rider 18yrs+ and up to 2 children under 18yrs) - $95
2025 Non-Riding Adult Membership (18yrs+) - $20
2025 Junior Single Riding Membership (under 18yrs - must join with a Non-Riding parent or adult 18yrs+) - $45
* The Junior is the riding member but the Non-Riding Adult is responsible for the Junior Rider and the adult only is allowed to vote at AGM, the Junior does not have a separate vote.

We are currently open for 2025 memberships which run from 1 January 2025
to 31 January 2026. Full year memberships will allow the member to vote at the AGM on Monday 20 January 2025 and at the AGM in January 2026 (date to be advised).
